Dear Friends of the Progressive Interfaith Alliance,

As the season of Divine Light surrounds us, we are reminded of the sacred spark that resides in every individual and the profound ways it manifests in the diversity of our families. December invites us to reflect on this light, recognizing its brilliance in stories that challenge, inspire, and transform our understanding of love and belonging.

This month, we are proud to share 31 Days of Illuminating Family Diversity, a social media series that highlights the unique beauty of families across different faiths, cultures, and identities. These stories shine a light on resilience, love, and the courage to exist authentically in a world that often seeks to diminish difference.

As we journey through this series, we invite you to consider these questions:

• How can we recognize, honor and amplify the spark of the divine in every family’s unique story, especially those whose experiences challenge traditional norms?
• What does this call us to do as a faith community to embody radical acceptance and compassion?

In these reflections, we find our purpose—to create spaces where every family is celebrated as sacred, and every story is a testament to the divine. The Progressive Interfaith Alliance is committed to fostering these spaces, and we thank you for your partnership in this work.

May this season bring clarity, inspiration, and a renewed commitment to the light within us all. Together, let us continue to illuminate the path toward justice, equity, love, and radical inclusion.
