Day 27. 100 Years of LGBTQ Rights Milestones Timeline from CNN.
CNN has provided a recap of LGBTQ milestones in the United States dating back to 1924.
Since it’s “Throwback Thursday,” we want to draw your attention to a program that aired on September 11, 1961 on a local station in California. “The Rejected” was the first documentary ever to air in the United States on the topic of homosexuality. Thanks to the Bay Area Television Archive and SFSU, we can view this program today. Watch here at (https://diva.sfsu.edu/collections/sfbatv/bundles/225539).
